Using GPS Notes you can create notes with pictures on GoogleMaps. It is now possible to never forget interesting places ! You are also able to group your notes in your own categories for keeping a better overview.Store up to three photos for each note - Take them directly with your camera or pick them form your gallery. All notes will be shown on GoogleMaps. You can also export the notes and see them on GoogleEarth using your Computer! Privacy:All information are stored on your telephone. Would like to be able to edit GPS coordinates for places added at a later date.
I have been using it for fishing recordings. Great as you can add an entry on the spot or after the days events (if you know where you were). Simple and easy.
Have you thought of adding Drive Sync to this? It would be great!
I wish there were some instructions or help, instead of leaving the user to try figuring everything out. For instance, only through trial-and-error did I learn you'll have to long-press on the remote search result to add a note to it, otherwise the note would be attached to where you are. Don't ask me about categories & filters, as I don't have time to test & understand them. Moreover, this app doesn't seem to work offline, which is rather inconsiderate since Maps can work offline & any notes are supposedly stored locally on your device...
Maybe I'm missing something but I can't figure out hour to search for locations like in Google maps
A bit laggy, needs ability to sort to export to google earth and export needs KMZ file option.

Good because simple! What I miss: 1. import kml 2. Update coordinates 3. Indicator of current gps accuracy when taking a note 4. (Most important) make the notes field in details view bigger...I can only see 3-4 lines 5. Direct sync function into Google maps engine (which sucks for note taking)
I wanted an app to make notes in the map and to be able to click the map to see the note. Perfect. Will use this to keep notes about food allergies in restaurants.
